Hydrion Lo Ion Quat Test Kits provide a simple, reliable, and economical means to measure quarternary concentrations less than 100 ppm in just two minutes, specifically Alkyldimethylbenzyl ammonium compounds, Rocall II, and Hyamine 3500. With colour matches at 0-10-25-50-100 ppm, the test paper measures concentrations between 0-100 ppm, detecting exhaustion of solutions that should be replaced as well as helping to avoid using excessive amounts of sanitising agents.

Government and local body health regulations require users of Quaternary Ammonium sanitiser solutions to have appropriate test kits available to verify the strength of sanitiser solutions. Sanitiser solutions are essential in the food service industry to ensure that sanitisers are at the proper concentration specified by the individual manufacturer.

Each kit contains one 4.5 metre roll of test paper, matching colour chart, and two sample tubes with caps. In addition there is one extra roll of test paper and a laminated colour chart. Provides for approximately 100 tests.

How To Use The Lo Ion Quaternary Test Kit

To use, place a 7 cm strip of test paper into the sample tube. Add the test solution, cap and shake several times over a 30 second period. Hold the tube against the black bar on the chart and compare the test strip with the colour chart, which matches concentrations of 0-10-25-50-100 ppm of quaternary ammonium solutions.
